Day of Giving 2023

Commuter students enrich the WVSU campus community in countless ways, representing diverse backgrounds, community connections and life experience. Many come to college following military service or work in a variety of fields. Many are the first in their families to attend college. Many have significant family and work commitments beyond their studies. The Commuter Student Scholarship will assist students from Kanawha or Putnam County with a 2.0 GPA or higher in pursuing their degrees and taking their place as the next generation of West Virginia leaders in critical areas such as business, health care, education, and public service.
